A sub-crew within BMPK has been created recently. This sub-group goes by the name of Street Kings. To best describe this group; in as few words as possible: “King Kong ain't got shit on them”. They are the BMPK elite. The group is headed by Joklem and Jason (srt). The Diablo II 1.13 patch is on temporary hold while we investigate potential impact on the Battle.net service. As we moved closer to launching the patch concerns grew that an increase in the player stash size (a feature in the patch) could compromise the Diablo II Battle.net service. The hardware and configuration could potentially not handle the increased stash size gracefully under heavy load. There have been several posts on the Battle.Net forums relating to the status of Diablo II's Patch 1.13. In summary, they say that Warcraft III has had a major issue come up and they have had to shift all of their development time over to a WC3 patch, and put the Diablo II patch on hold for now. However, once the WC3 patch is finalized, they will resume work on the D2 patch, which, apparently, is almost finished anyway. They are thinking the WC3 patch will be released soon, and the D2 patch soon after.
