Patch 1.13 and Ladder Reset Dated -- March 23rd

Postby Hellmonkeys on Mon Mar 15, 2010 4:47 pm

Well, it appears that they finally have a release date for the 'final' patch 1.13 and the official ladder reset, which will apparently occur March 23, 2010, given no further delays. This also appears like it should be the date that TPPK has finally been... TPPK'ed, if you will . Anyways, refer to the previous R.I.P. TPPK post for my feelings on that one. In any event, hopefully some people will stick around and play the new ladder season. I am actually somewhat anxious to see if, and how many, people will be playing in public games for the new ladder season. It may very well liven it up... Anyways, see you on March 23rd!

Bashiok wrote:We will be resetting the Diablo II ladder on March 23 with the release of patch 1.13. We anticipate all Diablo II realms to be down for approximately six hours during the reset. More specific information on realm availability on the day of the reset will be posted in the Battle.net Status forum. When the ladder is reset, all existing ladder characters will be converted to non-ladder. All characters and items being converted to non-ladder will remain intact, but once converted these characters will no longer have access to ladder content such as creating ladder-only rune words. For more information on ladder characters please visit the Arreat Summit Realm Character Types page at http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/ba ... ypes.shtml

I'm playing west, of course. So, if anyone wants to team up lemme know.

Gary, I know tppk is dead now. But anyway we can work with trigs still? Hoping for auto tele, chicken, ect. Lemme know negro.

Supposedly there could be a way around it according to a few guys that have been around the block a few times like yourself -- or at least there's been legit talk of it from worthy hackers. Have you not done any investigating on the issue?

I agree tppk is dead but many of us are pvp-ers aswell and still having loads of fun. It would be rly nice if we could have some updated trigs(autopot, player scan, able to switch skills like tele/blizz on left side, etc) and maybe released 'soon' after reset so it gives us a bit of advantage... we shall w8 and see what Gary is gonna decide...but i personally hope hes going to give us an early xmas present or atleast an easter egg :P

I have a feeling Hellmonkeys would likely rather spend his time taking a shit and wiping has ass extra well than worry about looking for loopholes in source code in a 10 year old game.

Blake, DivinEx -- play without a crutch, you pussies. Cronus had his chicken off 100% of the time and was one of the best duelers on East due to that. He played without fear but had to hone his tactics since he knew chicken wouldn't save him.

I already promised Hellmonkeys a round of beers if he doesn't waste his time updating trigs. So far, it looks like he's getting a whole bunch of Canadian beer.

napsterz0r wrote:Geez, do that yourself...

Fine, I'll play without trigs. Oh wait, I don't play this outdated game.

call me when you will kill a level 50 atleast rofl. D2 its nothing like was before...

I have nothing to prove to you, I tore apart realms when I played. We had to prove we were able to manual PK without triggers when we first joined, unfortunately that was quite a while before you joined up.

now like 90% of comunity use hacks ..

Excuses, excuses. If 90% of your community had tattoos of a giant penis on their neck, would you get one too?

I see nothing wrong on hoping to get a little update to the triggers ,we cleary need a tmc... the scan player thing .. and maiby a autopot thing.. but thats not realy so necesary i supose. xDDDD

None of it is necessary, nobody needs that shit. Good players never used that garbage.
